(Kuching, 7th) Sarawak United People's Party (SUPP) President Dato Sri Dr. Sim Kui Hian admitted that the party has not received any membership application from Batu Lintang assemblyman See Chee How, and he also denied rumors that the latter will soon join the party.
Sim, who is also the Deputy Premier of Sarawak, responded to the media regarding this matter while attending a Christmas market launch last night.
In the past November's Sarawak assembly session, See Chee How made a courtesy call on Sarawak Premier Abang Johari along with SUPP's assemblymen, which sparked rumors that See had joined the party.
When asked about the speculation that See Chee How might join SUPP, Sim responded by stating that at this stage, they are pleased with the close cooperative relationship and do not wish for the people of Batu Lintang to be excluded from the Sarawak government's development process.
"Sarawak is set to achieve significant development by 2030, and our goal is to include everyone, ensuring no one is overlooked. Inclusivity remains a top priority."
Sim expressed the desire to ensure no one is left behind and, importantly, noted that there is no longer idle talk from people nowadays.
