(Negeri Sembilan, 2nd) According to official results from the Election Commission, Barisan Nasional (BN) won the most seats in the 16th Negeri Sembilan state election.
Election Commission Chairman Datuk Seri Nanlan Haron announced at a press conference at 12:25 a.m. on Sunday that the Negeri Sembilan election results were released at 11:57 p.m. on August 1, with BN securing 18 state seats, Pakatan Harapan (PH) 11, and Perikatan Nasional (PN) 7.
He noted that the voter turnout for the Negeri Sembilan state election reached 72.64%, with a total of 646,084 voters casting their ballots, including early voting and postal ballots.
He stated that the Election Commission was satisfied with the conduct of this election, and no unpleasant incidents occurred.
