Qin Han and Brigitte Lin's 20-Year Turbulent Romance: Sun Guohao Reveals Father's Tragic Loss of Love and Money '27.3 Million Vanished'

Sun Guohao, the son of Qin Han (real name: Sun Xiangzhong), previously shared his experience of trusting a friend on a program that led to significant financial loss. With a shift in tone, he jokingly suggested that his tendency to lose money might be inherited from his father. He revealed that during Qin Han's peak fame, he entrusted a friend to manage his investments, but unexpectedly, that friend took liberties, causing him to lose over 20 million Taiwan dollars (approximately 2.735 million MYR) overnight. At the same time, he also experienced a breakup with Brigitte Lin, which could be described as losing both love and money.

Approaching the age of 50, Sun Guohao previously divulged details about his father Qin Han on the show "Destiny is Fun," jokingly suggesting that being deceived might be a family trait. He recalled how, back in the day, Qin Han, due to his busy schedule, would often have a close friend, whom he'd known since childhood, handle his stock investments. Qin Han even handed over his stamp, passbook, and ID card, trusting the friend to manage his investments wisely. Sun Guohao recounted that when it came to significant investment amounts, this friend should have informed Qin Han first; unexpectedly, the friend acted on his own, resulting in a huge financial loss.

Sun Guohao mentioned that a single decision made by that friend back then led to Qin Han's assets evaporating overnight, losing "over 20 million Taiwan dollars (approximately 2.735 million MYR)", to which Ho Dulun curiously asked, “So how did your dad feel at that time?” Sun Guohao responded that Qin Han was experiencing a streak of bad luck, facing financial loss followed by a breakup with "the person everyone knows," referring to Brigitte Lin.

Speaking about Brigitte Lin, Sun Guohao said that he once stayed at her place while shooting in Hong Kong. Brigitte Lin took him out for meals and even gave him clothes. Sun Guohao mentioned that he wasn't aware of the rift in the relationship between his father and his aunt at that time. Later on, while having hairy crabs on a yacht with Lan Xinmei, Qin Han, and Brigitte Lin, his dad and aunt announced their breakup.

Sun Guohao jokingly mentioned that it seemed Lan Xinmei felt more awkward since she was older than him and understood the situation better, while he was just a young boy at the time, obliviously eating hairy crabs, unaware of his father and aunt's decision to “cut ties.”
