Oscar Leung Engages Fans, Bob Lam Entertains, With Surprise Appearance by Joel Chan to Heighten Excitement

Hong Kong star Oscar Leung held a fan meeting on April 29 in Kuala Lumpur, attracting a large crowd of enthusiastic fans. It was his first fan meeting in Malaysia, with good friend Bob Lam specially making an appearance to sing in a duet and play games on stage. Surprise guest Joel Chan, who was filming in Malaysia, also made a sudden appearance to support him, providing continuous surprises.

Oscar Leung admitted that Hong Kong artists particularly love coming to Malaysia because the fans here are enthusiastic and friendly. “So whenever I have time, I wish to come back and meet everyone,” he said to a burst of enthusiastic cheers from the audience. During the event, he fully demonstrated his “fan-petting” demeanor by hugging, taking photos, and selfies, engaging closely with fans, which thrilled them.

In the "Guess the Song" game section, Oscar Leung was full of humor, playfully "letting loose" at the end of the month, and teasingly flirted with fans: “Grabbing the microphone involves physical contact,” and “Guess the song title for a hug,” delighting female fans. As soon as Bob Lam appeared, the humor was infectious; while selecting fans to come on stage, he referred to them as “dads and moms,” with Oscar Leung humorously adding, “This is my cousin!” The two’s harmonious interaction caused continuous laughter from the audience.

Oscar Leung not only sang "越难越爱" solo but also performed "不再犹豫" with Bob Lam, with both heading off stage to interact with fans, ramping up the event’s excitement. Towards the end of the event, Oscar Leung joked he hopes to hold a concert in Malaysia in the future. Just as he finished speaking, TVB Best Actor Joel Chan appeared unexpectedly, causing the venue to erupt in screams that almost lifted the roof.

Bob Lam couldn’t help but tease: “Earlier we asked them to stand up, and none did, but as soon as you appeared, everyone stood up!” Oscar Leung also jokingly said, “Once you arrived, it seemed like there was a pin on their chairs, and they wouldn’t sit down!” Joel Chan laughed and said, “I am not a guest; I just happened to be here filming 'Prison Break Brothers 4,' and knowing my friend has a show, I had to come to support it.” He also revealed that the film will be shot in Kuala Lumpur and Malacca, “If you see me, make sure to come for a photo!”

After the fan meeting, Oscar Leung and Bob Lam attended a joint media interview, where they talked about their joint venture, the spicy hot pot restaurant "Harbour Story," in Kuala Lumpur. They acknowledged that the decision to open a restaurant in Malaysia was due to lower operating costs and greater flexibility locally, emphasizing, "We are not just putting our names on it; we are genuinely managing it personally."

Regarding their current activities, Bob Lam announced he will host TVB’s new romantic reality show “Goddess Matching Plan,” taking the role of a matchmaker for five popular actresses. Oscar Leung disclosed that the drama series, “The Enforcers,” in which he stars, is about to air, and he will be focusing on promotional activities next.
