(Bandar Seri Begawan, 11th) At a crucial stage of the nation's digital transformation, the TechXpo 2025, led by the Brunei Information and Communications Technology Forum (IFB), was officially launched yesterday, injecting new momentum into Brunei's technological development.
As a significant entity in the ICT industry of Brunei, IFB has long been committed to acting as a bridge between the government and the industry, playing a key role in promoting national technology policies and regional digital cooperation. For this tech expo, IFB envisions "Digitalization, Innovation, and Sustainable Growth," providing a clear policy direction for the event.
In a signing ceremony and press conference, IFB Chairman Pg Kamal John Pgn Indian stated, "TechXpo 2025 is not just about showcasing technology, but a collective effort to propel Brunei’s digital development. We are committed to harnessing national strength and industry wisdom to collectively shape Brunei’s digital future."
This expo will concurrently host two regional-level conferences - the ASEAN East Growth Area (BIMP-EAGA) ICT CEO Forum and the ICT Cluster Meeting. These meetings aim to showcase Brunei's proactive role in regional cooperation and further strengthen regional digital collaboration.
As the organizer, United Ventures Ltd. will fully upgrade the expo, focusing on hot topics such as artificial intelligence, network security, smart cities, and green technology, and promote cross-domain collaboration through immersive displays and matching platforms.
A representative from United Ventures Ltd. noted, "We are not just organizing an exhibition; we are creating a long-term dialogue platform for Brunei and the regional tech ecosystem."
TechXpo 2025 is expected to attract local and international enterprises, innovators, policymakers, academia, and media representatives, becoming an important platform for technological collaboration between Brunei and the BIMP-EAGA region. The organizers call on all sectors of society to actively participate and contribute to building a smarter, more sustainable, and interconnected digital future for Brunei.
