US Judge Releases 'Epstein Note,' Discovered by Former Cellmate

Published at May 07, 2026 10:55 am
According to CNN, a US federal district court judge on Wednesday released a note allegedly written by the late American financier Jeffrey Epstein.

The report states that the note is 'unverified and undated' and was found by Epstein's former cellmate.

The note contains a single sentence: 'They investigated me for a month — found nothing!!!'

According to previous reports, Epstein was convicted in 2008 of procuring minors for prostitution, and in July 2019 was arrested again on suspicion of sex crimes. He died in prison in August of the same year, which was officially ruled a 'suicide.' Because the case involved a number of high-profile figures in American and European political and business circles, the Epstein case has stirred widespread negative public opinion.
