Less than three hours after a magnitude 6.9 strong earthquake struck the Philippines, a magnitude 6.1 earthquake hit the Bali Sea in Indonesia at 12:49 a.m. today (October 1).
According to meteorological data, the epicenter was located at 7.2 degrees south latitude and 114.2 degrees east longitude, with a focal depth of 10 kilometers, about 128 kilometers northeast of Probolinggo, Indonesia.
No casualties or damages have been reported so far. Authorities are closely monitoring the situation.
