(Brunei Times, 5 Jan) On January 5th, 2025, the Wen Zhong Alumni Association held its annual New Year council dinner event.
Council members gathered in a warm and harmonious atmosphere to review the achievements of the past year and look forward to future development directions. Although there was no formal speech at the dinner, everyone exchanged blessings in relaxed interactions and shared their expectations for the new year.
Reflecting on 2024, the council members especially thanked every alumnus for their enthusiastic participation and support. It is everyone's joint efforts and valuable suggestions that have significantly advanced the planning of activities and the building of alumni bonds.
Looking ahead to 2025, the Alumni Association plans to introduce a variety of activities and interest classes to create a more considerate and convenient communication platform for alumni, making the “spirit of alumni” resonate more deeply.
At the same time, the Alumni Association expresses heartfelt gratitude to the advisory board, sponsors, and supporters for their guidance and support over the past year. Their contributions to the growth of the association, activity planning, and promotion have provided crucial momentum for the steady progress of the Alumni Association. In addition, the association sincerely thanks media friends for their attention and coverage.
The Alumni Association announced that 2025 will see the official launch of a new alumni hotline to provide more convenient contact channels and service information for alumni. Meanwhile, due to ongoing updates of internal materials, the member meeting originally scheduled for December 2024 will be postponed. The administrative team is fully committed to completing the member information and appreciates the patience and cooperation of the alumni.
Alumni are especially reminded that the annual Spring Festival calligraphy event will be held on January 19th (Sunday), and they are sincerely invited to bring family and friends to participate and share in the festive joy.
This New Year council dinner was not only a warm summary of last year's work but also a starting point for cooperation and development in the new year.
