Mayday successfully brought F4 back together, allowing them to relive their former glory. Following this, some began wishing to see the iconic 90s boy group Little Tigers return to the music scene. It is reported that even before making the F4 reunion happen, Ashin had already reached out to one of the Little Tigers members, Nicky Wu, hoping to persuade them for a reunion to revive the style of the group that debuted 37 years ago.
In fact, Mayday and Nicky Wu have known each other for a long time. In 2013, during the opening film of the "Mayday Noah's Ark" Bird's Nest concert, "Fourth Prince" Nicky Wu appeared as the "anchor of tomorrow," handsomely delivering apocalyptic news on the big screen. At the time, this caused a wave of screams from an audience of 100,000, showing that Nicky Wu's popularity was undiminished. This further strengthened Ashin's determination to bring the Little Tigers back together.
According to sources, Ashin reached out to Nicky Wu through connections, and Nicky Wu expressed that he would be "happy to see it happen" regarding the idea of a Little Tigers reunion. As for Alec Su and Julian Chen, efforts are underway to find ways to get in touch with them. In the past, every time there was news about a possible Little Tigers reunion, it always ultimately fell through. Alec Su once attended an event in Hong Kong and was asked about this; he explained that it wasn't due to disagreements over payment, nor was it because of any bad blood among the three. Rather, all three are enjoying successful individual careers and want to protect the "Little Tigers" brand name. Alec Su said: "I really love Little Tigers and this glory; I still do to this day." Although Alec Su emphasized that there is no rift among the members, it simply has never worked out for a reunion. After all, it's been ten years since all three last performed together; getting the Little Tigers to reunite will still take plenty of effort. In response, Mayday's label, B'in Music, said: "No comment."
