Opposition Leader in Parliament, Dato' Seri Hamzah Zainudin, insisted on asking the Prime Minister a question during the Prime Minister’s Question Time in Parliament, despite being rejected by Deputy Speaker Datuk Ramli. As Hamzah persisted, Ramli simply announced a 5-minute recess on the spot.
After the Prime Minister finished answering, Hamzah Zainudin stood up to ask a question, but Ramli rejected it.

Kota Bharu MP Dato' Seri Takiyuddin hoped Ramli could invoke the powers given by Parliament procedure to allow Hamzah to ask his question. Ramli replied: "If you were sitting in my seat, you could decide that, but right now I'm the one sitting here."
Takiyuddin answered: "Then appoint me instead."
Hamzah stated that, even if Ramli rejected his question, he still wanted to continue asking. Unable to stop him, Ramli simply announced a 5-minute recess, and after the session resumed, the proceedings moved directly into the Q&A segment, thus ending the Prime Minister’s Question Time.
