Malaysian ballad prince Nicholas Teo has been dedicated to his "21st Story" tour for more than two years, with the final show taking place in Macau on the night of February 28. After the show, he teased new plans focused on Taipei Arena, saying, “I’ve always wanted to go to Taipei, and I hope there’s a chance this year.” Having not appeared in drama productions for some time, he also took the opportunity to reach out to Taiwanese production teams expressing his eagerness to act again, declaring he wouldn’t turn down roles as villains, scumbags, or even perverts, and candidly stated, “The price is negotiable.”
Since his debut, Nicholas has had a smooth-sailing career seemingly favored by fate. Due to past experiences of being overly busy and burning out, he said, “My health is really good now, and I really enjoy being able to control my work pace.” Although his workload has decreased significantly, is he still maintaining a laid-back approach? He responded that he doesn't see himself as laid-back, “I’ve always believed that what's meant to be mine will be mine. I’m not in a rush. Being able to live as myself and as a happy artist is very lucky.”
Speaking about his partner, whom he publicly acknowledged eight years ago, he said their relationship is very stable and their life is solid and grounded. Currently, they are settled in Kuala Lumpur, which allows him to take care of his family nearby. He feels that the pace and environment in Kuala Lumpur suit him better, and he now owns three houses. With such a solid relationship, are there plans to become a father? The 44-year-old revealed that 14 years ago he wanted to have children, but as his sisters gradually became mothers and the family gained more and more members, “I realized they are all my children,” happily enjoying a lifestyle he can fully control.
