The Korean reality dating show Transit Love 4 aired its exciting finale on the 21st, ultimately producing four couples: two reconciled pairs and two ‘transit’ success stories. In addition to the high-profile cast of eleven attractive housemates, each episode’s celebrity dating panel always generated plenty of buzz. For the grand finale, BLACKPINK member Jennie was invited as a special guest, and she enthusiastically shared that she has been a loyal fan of the show from the start.
The most anticipated moment was Jennie’s long-awaited appearance in the finale. Simon D, one of the show's hosts, revealed that he had first messaged Jennie to ask if she was watching the show, and she immediately replied, “It’s really so good! Can I come on the show?” Simon D was in disbelief at first, and asked, “Do you really want to join the show?” At the recording, Jennie cheerfully said, “Of course!” When Jennie was asked whether Simon D had given her any spoilers, she quickly denied it: “Not at all.” She even joked that, in her eagerness to see the ending ahead of time, she ended up being “tricked” onto the show by Simon D.
At the program’s conclusion, the brave choices of the participants deeply moved both the hosts and Jennie. Kim Rye Won commented, “From the first episode to the last, there wasn’t a single moment that wasn’t surprising.” Yura and Simon D both exclaimed that this season was, without precedent, the most entertaining yet.
