The Ministry of State Security of mainland China has disclosed the identities of three Taiwanese 'internet trolls', among whom is Lin Ziyu, a lieutenant colonel operations officer from the Third Bureau of Taiwan's Military Intelligence Bureau.

On the 10th, the mainland Chinese “Ministry of State Security Official WeChat Account” released information stating that there are a number of suspicious internet 'troll' accounts with strong associations on various domestic and foreign social networking platforms, characterized by similar content, account coordination, and strong incitement. Following an investigation, it was found that these accounts are managed and operated by Taiwan-based Wang’s R&J Arts Company, which for a long time has acted under the direction of the Taiwan Military Intelligence Bureau, carrying out anti-mainland propaganda and subversive activities.

The “commander” and “operator” behind these activities include: Lin Ziyu, 36 years old this year, a lieutenant colonel operations officer in the Third Bureau of the Taiwan Military Intelligence Bureau, who uses the alias Lin Xiaofei, directly commanding Wang’s R&J Arts Company in anti-mainland subversive operations.

Wang Yiru, 40 years old this year, is the head of Taiwan’s Wang’s R&J Arts Company. She acts under Lin Ziyu’s orders and has submitted anti-mainland propaganda plans and reports to Lin Ziyu multiple times.

Chen Kaijie, 35 years old this year, is the head of the Tainan office of Wang’s R&J Arts Company and is directly involved in anti-mainland subversive activities.

The Ministry of State Security of mainland China stated that Wang’s R&J Arts Company distorts historical facts, promotes “Taiwan independence” fallacies, clamors for “de jure Taiwan independence,” and spreads absurd rumors such as “Taiwan’s sovereignty belongs to the United Nations.”

The Ministry also pointed out that accounts under Wang’s R&J Arts Company have targeted hot topics such as the South China Sea situation and the Taiwan Strait situation by forging mainland China “red-headed documents,” fabricating and spreading rumors, inciting antagonistic sentiment among netizens. In addition, they have distorted and confused the facts of history regarding the Anti-Japanese War and the founding of the People's Republic of China, denying the contribution of the Chinese Communist Party in history.
