(Serian, 12th) — A 16-year-old female student has gone missing in Tapilut, and police are urging the public to provide any information that could help locate her.
Serian District Police Chief Superintendent Freddie Bian stated that the girl's father filed a police report at the Tapilut police station at about 3:28 PM on February 11th.
The missing girl has been identified as Avril Felis, 16 years old, from Kampung Tema Saan village in Tapilut.
"She was last seen wearing her school uniform and carrying a backpack. Searches in the surrounding area have so far yielded no results," he stated in a press release.
This case has been classified as a missing person investigation.
