(Bandar Seri Begawan, 1st) His Majesty the Sultan of Brunei arrived yesterday at an international airport in Vietnam.
Upon arrival, he was warmly welcomed by Le Khanh Hai, Chief of the Office of the Vietnamese President, Vu Dai Thang, Chairman of the Hanoi People’s Committee, and Nguyen Minh Cuong, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs.
Those present to greet His Majesty also included Second Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dato Erywan, and Brunei’s Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Vietnam, Datin Halimah.
His Majesty then reviewed the guard of honor.
The last state visit His Majesty made to Vietnam was from March 26 to 28, 2019, during which the relations between the two countries were elevated to a comprehensive partnership.
