(Miri, 7th) Miri Sibuti Coral Reef National Park is now reopened, and the public can visit the national park to enjoy marine leisure activities.
The Sarawak Forestry Corporation announced on Facebook today that as the conditions in the Miri sea area have gradually stabilized and the environment is suitable, the relevant authorities have decided to reopen the Miri Sibuti Coral Reef National Park after assessment, allowing the public and diving enthusiasts to return to the national park to admire its rich and diverse marine ecosystem and magnificent coral scenery.
The corporation reminded visitors and divers to strictly abide by the park's regulations, including not damaging the corals, not disturbing marine life, and avoiding leaving any litter or pollutants in the sea, to ensure the long-term protection and maintenance of the marine ecological environment.
The statement also emphasized that promoting responsible diving activities is crucial for protecting the marine ecosystem. Divers are urged to maintain good buoyancy control during diving, avoid touching or stepping on the coral reefs, and comply with the guidance from diving centers and management authorities to jointly safeguard marine natural resources.
