Brunei Tourism Expo Grandly Opens Today at Jerudong – Tourism Board Launches Packages to Encourage Locals to Explore the Country

(Bandar Seri Begawan, 13th) The Ministry of Primary Resources and Tourism, through the Tourism Development Department, is participating in the 2025 SABRE Brunei Tourism Expo. The event will be held continuously over two days from 13th to 14th September at Hall 1, Bridex, Jerudong, aiming to support the "National Tourism Grand Action" (KNK), continuously promote domestic tourism, encourage the public to explore and enjoy the charms of Brunei, while supporting the development of the local tourism industry.

In addition to the Ministry of Primary Resources and Tourism, many hotels and tourism service providers will also be present at the expo, launching exclusive domestic tourism packages, including staycation offers and family-friendly leisure activities. These packages provide valuable opportunities for the public to plan ahead for the upcoming December school holidays and fully enjoy local attractions.

It is reported that the Tourism Development Department’s booth will offer the latest domestic tourism information covering eco-tourism, cultural experiences, staycations, and adventure activities. Highlighted offerings include "Jungle Hideaway: A Serene Nature Journey", "Sungai Teraban Day Tour", "Easy Discover, Stay, and Explore Brunei", "Bukit Apoi – One Day Tour" and "From River to City – Exploring the Heart of Bandar Seri Begawan". These selected packages are designed to inspire locals to rediscover the country’s unique heritage, natural landscapes, and diverse attractions.

The Tourism Development Department welcomes the public to visit their booth, take the opportunity to explore new tourism packages, get the latest information, and plan their holidays in advance, whether for a weekend getaway or year-end vacation. The department emphasizes that it will continue to drive the development of the domestic tourism industry through similar initiatives and is committed to building a sustainable tourism ecosystem that benefits communities nationwide.
