(Bandar Seri Begawan, 14th) City Square Shopping Mall hosted a warm and meaningful iftar dinner last night at the mall’s Chill-V Kopitiam restaurant, in line with the spirit of Ramadan and in fulfillment of its corporate social responsibility.
This special iftar dinner invited 35 single mothers and 14 orphans from Kampong Subok, who gathered together with numerous guests to break fast and share care and warmth.
The iftar dinner opened in a cozy atmosphere, with the special invitation of Member of Parliament and Kampong Subok Village Head, Ravi, as Guest of Honour. In addition, City Square Shopping Mall Managing Director Dato Lee Sin Wei, mall owner Pengiran Salleh, mall manager Lee Wen Yi, and other senior management were also present.
Prior to the official iftar, a donation ceremony was held. The organizers thoughtfully prepared green packets and gifts, presenting them to the single mothers and orphans in the hope of bringing them some practical help, while also conveying the warmth and care of society.
