Hong Kong metaphysics queen Mak Ling Ling and the legendary Hong Kong hip-hop group FAMA reunited after 20 years to unleash their talents once again. Recently, their performances in the Greater Bay Area were packed and full of momentum. This time, the trio of master and apprentices seized the 'new lunar year' to hold the 'Three Sides of Ling Farmer · Immediate Good Fortune' Chinese New Year special in Malaysia. Not only did FAMA bring their music, but Mak Ling Ling also did live physiognomy readings for the audience and shared her good luck techniques. The three combined metaphysics and comedy, allowing the audience to welcome abundant luck amidst laughter.

The show kicked off with FAMA taking the stage first, greeting fans with '456Wing', immediately followed by other hit songs like 'Great Voyage' and 'Companions', igniting the atmosphere of the venue. They then invited Master Mak Ling Ling to join them on stage. Their cross-over collaboration two decades ago brought about the surprise hit 'Fung Sang Shui Hei', and C Jun told the audience, 'It's been 20 years since that song.' Luk Wing added gratefully, 'Us being able to stand here today is all thanks to that song.'

As it was still within the first month of the lunar new year, Mak Ling Ling transformed into a good luck mentor, guiding the audience through various chapters including benefactors, careers, relationships, and wealth, imparting her good luck methods one by one. She not only shared lucky tips using mobile apps, but also analyzed fortunes through details such as the thickness of palms, sitting posture, and facial moles. She even forecasted personal financial luck by 'character analysis', and the audience listened attentively. She also revealed the top three zodiac signs for career and romance luck this year, as well as the best zodiac matches for partnerships (Liuhe and Sanhe signs), which deeply engaged the audience. Mak Ling Ling then randomly selected audience members via the big screen to analyze their face shapes and fortunes, while FAMA cracked jokes on the side and even mischievously played matchmaker, causing waves of laughter in the venue.
During the show, Mak Ling Ling acted as a good luck mentor, guiding the audience through benefactors, careers, relationships, and wealth chapter by chapter to impart good fortune methods.
The funniest moment came when Mak Ling Ling was sharing which zodiacs had prosperous peach blossom luck (romance luck) in the Year of the Horse, pointing out that Rabbit, Goat, and Rooster were on the list. She joked, 'Rabbit rarely makes the list in previous years, because my husband's zodiac is Rabbit.' Luk Wing immediately caught on and exclaimed, 'So you didn't give your husband any romance luck!' Mak Ling Ling then laughingly explained that her husband even complained her fortune-telling books were never as 'harsh' on other zodiacs, but particularly strict when it came to Rabbits. Luk Wing then quipped, 'Turns out your book isn't a fortune book, it's a family notice!' causing the crowd to erupt with laughter.
Back then, the surprise hit 'Fung Sang Shui Hei' still excites C Jun (left) and Luk Wing (right) whenever it's brought up.

That night, FAMA was in charge of songs, while Mak Ling Ling delivered insightful monologues as introductions, forming a 'philosophy + music' combination that brought plenty of positive energy to the audience. At the end, Mak Ling Ling and FAMA reappeared to encourage everyone to stop overthinking and believe in themselves. Even if there comes a day when you feel you can't make it or are stuck in a rut, there will surely be a day that is as smooth as the wind and water.
