BIGBANG Launches Official IG for the First Time, Follows T.O.P and Fans Are Moved to Tears

The Korean group “BIGBANG” recently made their official comeback to the music scene via the United States’ largest music festival, Coachella, and at the same time announced that a brand new world tour will kick off starting in August. Although former member T.O.P is not participating, it has still left fans eagerly awaiting. BIGBANG immediately launched its first official Instagram account since their debut 20 years ago, revealing that their comeback plans are now officially underway. For the past 20 years since their debut, BIGBANG has only used Facebook and X to update fans on group activities. With their official return to the music scene following the Coachella event, plans for their 20th anniversary are now in full swing, and the very first step is the “launch of the official IG.” On the 21st, YG’s official account posted and tagged BIGBANG’s new account “bigbang_2xx6”, confirming that this is not a fan-made account.

It’s worth noting that the new account not only follows current members GD, Daesung, and Taeyang, but also follows former member and group “big brother” T.O.P. In the past, due to controversies and not wanting to drag down the group, T.O.P chose to leave, and even once distanced himself from BIGBANG during a livestream and blocked GD on Instagram.
