Chu Pak-wai found Bruce Lee already unconscious and transported him to Queen Elizabeth Hospital, which was 20 minutes away by car. In court, he explained that he chose Queen Elizabeth Hospital because it was better equipped, rather than another hospital only 5 minutes away. In court, all three main expert witnesses tended to support the conclusion that Bruce Lee died from cerebral edema triggered by an allergic reaction after taking aspirin.
