(Miri, 28th) Sun De'an, President of the World Chinese Writers Association, was invited today to attend the Miri Writers' Association's first Lunar New Year gathering held at the new venue, the "Sun De'an Conference Hall." He joined committee members and literary friends to celebrate the festive occasion together.

Though the preparations encountered various challenges and tests, thanks to the persistence and efforts of organizing committee chairman Hsu Ching-Ping and all committee members, numerous obstacles were overcome; the preparations are now progressing smoothly, turning from turmoil to calm—and demonstrating strong organizational capability and cultural responsibility.
Sun De'an also highly praised the selfless dedication of his colleagues in the association. He said that the advancement of literature depends on a group of quietly hardworking people; it is their perseverance that enables Chinese literature to continue growing overseas.
