(Seremban, 14th) A tragedy occurred when a 13-year-old girl riding a motorcycle crashed into a tree, resulting in 2 deaths and 1 injury.
Seremban District Police Chief Norshihan stated that the motorcycle-tree crash happened at Jalan Taman Musytari in Batu Kikir, Jempol, Negeri Sembilan, at 5:55 p.m. on Saturday (December 13). A 13-year-old girl and a 10-year-old girl died at the scene, while another 13-year-old passenger was seriously injured and hospitalized for treatment.
He said it is believed that the accident happened when three female students were riding together on one motorcycle. At the scene, the motorcycle lost control, overturned, and crashed into the right-side road divider and a tree. This resulted in the 13-year-old rider and the 10-year-old passenger suffering severe head and arm injuries and dying, while the other 13-year-old passenger sustained head injuries and both legs fractured and is receiving treatment in the hospital.
He said that police are investigating the case under Section 41(1) of the 1987 Road Transport Act and appealed to members of the public with information to contact Investigating Officer Mohamad Fasha at 016-3627746.
