80,000 Doves Soar into the Sky as China’s 9·3 Military Parade Concludes Successfully

China held a grand military parade to commemorate the 80th anniversary of the victory of the Chinese People’s War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression and the World Anti-Fascist War.

All weapons and equipment displayed in this parade were domestically produced and currently serving as China’s main weaponry, with most making their debut appearance.

As the parade concluded, 7 fighter jets drew 14 streaks of colored smoke in the sky, symbolizing the Chinese nation’s 14 years of heroic resistance, and representing the bright prospects of over 1.4 billion Chinese people marching toward a strong and revitalized nation.

80,000 doves soared into the sky, accompanied by 80,000 balloons rising into the air. Chinese President Xi Jinping and other leaders waved to people from all walks of life. The commemorative event concluded successfully to the rousing melody of "Ode to the Motherland."
