The Cambodian Ministry of Defense stated on social media on the 13th that at around 6 a.m. that morning, Thailand dispatched two F-16 fighter jets, dropping seven bombs. One bomb destroyed a hotel building, while two bombs destroyed a bridge.
Several hours earlier, U.S. President Trump posted on social media that he had spoken separately over the phone with the leaders of both Thailand and Cambodia. The leaders of both countries agreed to implement a ceasefire from that evening and to resume the implementation of a previously reached peace agreement.
In addition, Cambodia’s Ministry of Interior stated on the 12th that due to the Cambodia-Thailand border conflict, the number of Cambodian civilians evacuated has exceeded 300,000.
The Ministry of Interior said that nearly 90,000 families—over 300,000 people—have fled their homes near the Cambodia-Thailand border and have sought shelter in safe places.
