At this important moment, the Chinese Embassy in Brunei, in cooperation with Brunei's Ministry of Home Affairs, Hengyi Petrochemical, and Imagine Company, organized a drone show to convey the sincere congratulations of the Chinese government and people on His Majesty the Sultan's birthday, as well as the friendship towards the Bruneian people.
He sincerely wishes that Brunei-China relations will reach a new level and achieve even greater development in the future.
Chen Shaochun pointed out that the drones used in this performance are from China, which vividly demonstrates the cooperation in new productive forces between Brunei and China.
He said that recently, the 2026 World Artificial Intelligence Conference and the High-Level Meeting on Global AI Governance were held in Shanghai, China, where President Xi Jinping delivered an important keynote speech. The conference, themed "Intelligent Partnerships, Creating the Future Together," also announced the establishment of the World Artificial Intelligence Cooperation Organization initiated by China.
He expressed his belief that this conference will play an important role in promoting the inclusive development of global artificial intelligence and in accelerating AI development among countries in the Global South.
He added that China is willing to expand cooperation with Brunei in artificial intelligence and other broad fields of new productive forces, bringing more benefits to the peoples of both countries and raising the building of the Brunei-China community with a shared future to a higher level.
Chen Shaochun pointed out that this year also marks the 105th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China. Over the past 105 years, the Party has led the Chinese people in unremitting struggle, creating two great miracles: rapid economic development and long-term social stability.
