On the 22nd, a collision between a coach bus and a truck occurred in Russia’s Primorsky Krai, resulting in 3 deaths and 8 injuries. No Chinese citizens were harmed.
According to Vladivostok News, the accident happened on a highway in the Khasansky District of Primorsky Krai. At the time of the incident, the truck lost control and veered into the opposite lane, leading to a collision between the two vehicles. There were 14 people on the bus; the accident resulted in the deaths of the bus driver and two passengers, with 8 others on the bus injured.
According to earlier reports from Russian media, the involved bus was said to be carrying Chinese tourists. The Chinese Consulate General in Vladivostok confirmed that no Chinese citizens were injured or killed in the accident.
Currently, Shestopalov, head of the Primorsky Krai health department, and Krenovich, prosecutor of Khasansky District, have arrived at the accident scene. The cause of the accident is under investigation.
