(Bandar Seri Begawan, 18th) The Istana Nurul Iman last night once again held a ‘Sunat Hajat’ prayer ceremony, recitation of Surah Yasin, and a special prayer for the health and well-being of His Majesty the Sultan of Brunei.
This follows the ‘Sunat Hajat’ prayer ceremony, recitation of Surah Yasin, and special prayers held nationwide on the evening of Thursday, January 15.
His Majesty the Sultan of Brunei is scheduled to undergo planned medical treatment on Sunday, January 18, 2026.
The ‘Sunat Hajat’ prayer ceremony was held, Surah Yasin was recited, and special prayers were offered for the health and well-being of His Majesty the Sultan of Brunei.
Prayers were made to Allah for His Majesty’s surgery to proceed smoothly, and to grant His Majesty an immediate recovery, complete health, and long-lasting well-being.
Present at the prayer ceremony was Senior Minister at the Prime Minister’s Office, Crown Prince Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah.
Other attendees included royal family members, palace ministers, and senior government officials.
