(Singapore, 23rd) Due to safety assessments regarding the geopolitical situation in the Middle East, Singapore Airlines has cancelled two round-trip flights between Singapore and Dubai on Sunday (June 22).
On Sunday afternoon at 3pm, Singapore Airlines posted a notice on its website stating that it had cancelled the SQ494 flight, originally scheduled to depart from Singapore for Dubai, UAE at 3:10pm that day, as well as the SQ495 flight from Dubai back to Singapore at 7:45pm local time (11:45pm Singapore time).
Singapore Airlines will contact all affected passengers to inform them of the flight cancellations. These passengers can be rebooked on other flights or opt for a full refund for unused tickets.
Singapore Airlines stated that as the situation remains unstable, other flights between Singapore and Dubai may also be affected. The airline expresses its deep apologies for any inconvenience caused to passengers.
