(Miri News, 28th) The Miri City Council will host the third "Buy Back Recyclable Items" environmental event at the Miri Green Community Hub on May 17 (Saturday) from 8 AM to 2 PM to continue promoting the green living concept within the community.
YB Mayor Adam Yii Siew Sang announced at a press conference following the monthly council meeting this morning that this initiative is jointly organized by the City Council, Sekitar Bumi Hijau Sdn. Bhd., and Eye One Recycle (Miri) Sdn. Bhd. It aims to encourage citizens to resell recyclable items and waste cooking oil for cash as a way to practice environmentally friendly and sustainable lifestyles.
He revealed that the next "Buy Back Recyclable Items" event is expected to be held on July 26, at the same location and time, and welcomes enthusiastic participation from citizens.
