Taiwanese star Jacky Wu was found in possession of sexual images of minors without cause, involving 35 child and adolescent victims and 2,259 sexual images. He was sentenced to eight months and is in the process of appealing. On the 22nd, the Taipei District Prosecutors Office addressed images that were returned by the institution due to unidentified identities and the victims' unwillingness to report. They determined that Jacky Wu was suspected of holding 586 sexual images of 12 children and adolescents without legitimate reason and forwarded the case to the Taiwan High Court for further investigation.
The prosecutor's investigation found that Jacky Wu was already indicted for storing 2,259 sexual images involving 35 victims. Additionally, between 2014 and 2020, he was suspected of unjustifiably holding 586 sexual images involving 12 children or teenagers. Among these images, some showed minors in uniforms lifting clothes and skirts to expose private parts. There were also clear labels indicating ages from the Beetalk app such as 10, 11, 12, 14 years old, and from Facebook such as 16 years old and entering grade 5. These images include exposing breasts and legs spread to expose lower bodies.
The Taipei District Prosecutors Office believes that the 586 sexual images returned by the institution included 12 children or teenage victims. Although their identities are unknown or they are unwilling to report, the images are evidently sexual images of minors. The office believes these should be combined into a single case with the previous allegations and on the 22nd, sent it to the Taiwan High Court for trial.
