In recent years, quite a few TVB artists have headed north to China to form boy bands, attracting Chinese fans. Not long ago, Ron Ng led Roger Kwok, Bobby Au-Yeung, Vincent Wong, and Harold Ho to form the “TVB Hong Kong Drama Boy Band,” appearing together on Douyin in a livestream game show, where they danced to trending internet songs—their strong sense of “awkwardness” sparked much discussion among netizens. Recently, another group of artists set off to form a boy band, with five members whose combined ages exceed 200. One member, Oscar Leung, exclaimed, “Age is just a number!”

Oscar Leung recently shared a short video on social media, announcing that he, along with Harold Ho, Jonathan Cheung, Raymond Cho, and Kalok Chow, had formed the “So Sharp Boy Band” (English name: Give Me Five), and appeared in a livestream together. The five of them wore white shirts and black trousers, looking very stylish. Oscar Leung even reverted to his former stage name, Oscar Leung Lit Wai, to introduce himself to the audience, and stood at the front center position, suggesting he is the team’s leader.

According to online information, the oldest member is Raymond Cho at 47, and the youngest is Harold Ho at 41. Oscar Leung also revealed he is 47 years old. He stated in his post that forming a boy band this time was a “rebirth.” He said: “A rebirth, So Sharp Boy Band, I myself am 47, and my teammates together add up to over 200 years old! Age is just a number. Have passion for life, keep chasing your dreams, and dare to move forward and try—only then will life be without regrets!” Additionally, Harold Ho, being a member of two boy bands, seems especially fond of boy band formations.
