(Bandar Seri Begawan, 4th) His Majesty the Sultan of Brunei yesterday received Singapore's visiting Prime Minister and Minister for Finance, Lawrence Wong.
This visit was also to attend the 11th Brunei-Singapore Young Leaders' Programme held from the 3rd to 4th of this month.
The reception ceremony took place at the Istana Nurul Iman.
During the meeting, the leaders of both countries discussed mutual issues and strengthening existing bilateral relations, while also welcoming future collaboration topics.
In view of this, the leaders of both countries also consolidated long-standing bilateral cooperation, including currency swaps, defense, and people-to-people exchanges.
Attendees included the Minister at the Prime Minister's Office, Crown Prince Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah.
Subsequently, His Majesty the Sultan hosted a luncheon at the Istana Nurul Iman for the visiting guests.
