Venezuelan Troops Collapse, Cough Blood, and Are Immobilized: Did US Use Mysterious Weapon to Capture Maduro?

(USA, 12th) According to White House press secretary Leavitt, sharing an eyewitness account on social media platform X, during a recent US military raid in Venezuela to capture then-President Maduro, the US deployed a powerful and mysterious weapon that caused Venezuelan soldiers to immediately kneel, suffer nosebleeds and even cough up blood.

The New York Post reported that in a shocking interview, one of Maduro's bodyguards recounted how the US military used advanced technology like nothing he had ever seen before, wiping out hundreds of Venezuelan troops without a single American casualty.

The guard said, "We were on alert, but all of a sudden, all radar systems inexplicably shut down. Then we saw many drones fly overhead, and we were at a loss."

According to the guard's estimate, soon about eight helicopters appeared, deploying around 20 American soldiers; their numbers were small, but they brought weapons far more powerful than guns.

He recalled: "Their technology was extremely advanced; we had never seen opponents like this." According to him, what happened next was not a battle, but a massacre.

The guard said: "There were several hundred of us, but we couldn't fight back at all. Their shooting was fast and accurate—each soldier could fire about 300 rounds a minute."

The US military then deployed a weapon that still haunts the guard. Its effect was swift and shocking.

"At one point, they fired something—I can't even describe it—incredibly strong soundwaves, it felt like my head was exploding from the inside."

"We all started having nosebleeds, some even vomited blood. We collapsed on the ground, unable to move. That sonic weapon or whatever it was, made it impossible for us to even stand."

Leavitt shared a post about this account on X, saying, "Stop what you’re doing and watch this…”, followed by a line of US flag emojis.

As for whether Leavitt’s post meant the US government is verifying the eyewitness account, the White House has not yet responded.

According to estimates from Venezuela’s Ministry of the Interior, the US raid on January 3 resulted in about 100 Venezuelan security personnel deaths. It is still unknown whether any deaths were directly caused by the mysterious weapon.

The guard noted that, despite the small number of US troops, the Venezuelan guards were powerless to fight back.

He insisted: "These 20 people killed hundreds of us without a single casualty; we simply couldn't compete with their technology and weapons. I swear, I’ve never seen anything like it."

A former US intelligence source told the New York Post that the military has possessed directed-energy weapons for years but this may be the first time they’ve been used in actual combat. Such weapons can use focused energy like microwaves or lasers to incapacitate targets.

China reportedly also used microwave weapons against Indian troops during a territorial dispute in Ladakh in 2020.

The source said these weapons can indeed cause symptoms including "bleeding, loss of mobility or bodily functions, pain and burning sensations."

He added: "I can't say all symptoms will appear, but some definitely do. And we've had several versions of these weapons—they’ve existed for decades."
