Taiwanese rock band “Mayday” has recently kicked off their “5525 Back to That Day” world tour. It was reported that guitarist Stone (Shi Jin-Hang) has relocated to the UK due to his dedication to family and considerations for his children’s education.
In recent years, Stone has frequently appeared in music venues around London, whether enjoying performances by international musicians or showing support for Taiwanese singers, he is almost always seen there. Having graduated from the Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts and later studying further at the Liverpool Music School, Stone is very fond of life in the UK. Recently, it has been widely rumored in the industry that Stone and his family have long since moved to the UK.
In addition to his love for the UK, Stone is also considering the future education of his two sons, who are 18 and 16 years old. In previous interviews, he mentioned that if he had the chance, he would most like to take his children to the UK, to let them see his friends and life path from his younger days, and to personally experience the exchanges between different cultures. For his family, Stone is willing to be a frequent flyer; however, this year he will inevitably spend more time apart from them due to Mayday’s schedule being booked until the end of the year for their 25th-anniversary performances. The magazine “Mirror Weekly” sought confirmation from “Believe Music” regarding Stone’s family relocation to the UK, but no response was received before the end of the press deadline.
