(Seria, 19th) The Brunei Chongzhen Hakka Association successfully held its 2026 General Assembly this morning at Jinghua Restaurant in Seria, attracting many members to attend.
This General Assembly proceeded smoothly according to the established agenda, including the appointment of an interim chairman and secretary for the meeting, approval of previous motions, reports from the president, secretary, and treasurer, as well as discussions and votes on member proposals and other ad hoc motions.
During the assembly, members attentively listened to each report and engaged in discussions concerning the development of the association, organizational operations, and related proposals, fully demonstrating their concern and support for the association’s affairs. The entire meeting was conducted in an orderly manner and all items on the agenda were successfully completed in a harmonious and pleasant atmosphere.
During the meeting, Lee Fook Soon was also appointed as Honorary Advisor.
