Nationwide air raid sirens sounded in Kuwait and Bahrain on the 6th.
The General Staff of the Kuwaiti Armed Forces issued a statement on social media on the 6th, saying that Kuwait's air defense system intercepted hostile missiles and drone attacks. If citizens hear explosions, they are due to the air defense system intercepting hostile attacks. The statement urged everyone to comply with safety instructions issued by relevant authorities.
After Kuwait announced the interception of missiles and drones, the Bahraini Ministry of Interior subsequently stated that the country had issued an air raid warning.
The Bahraini Ministry of Interior issued a statement saying: "The alarm has sounded... citizens and residents are urged to stay calm and proceed to the nearest safe location."
Earlier, U.S. Central Command posted on social media that U.S. forces had shot down four attack drones launched by Iran towards the Strait of Hormuz, and then carried out airstrikes on Iranian coastal radar stations in the Goruk area and Qeshm Island.
According to Iranian radio and television, at around 2:30 a.m. local time on the 6th, several explosions were heard in the Sirik area along the Strait of Hormuz. Previously, after U.S. military strikes on Iranian military targets, Iran had launched retaliatory attacks against U.S. bases in Kuwait and other locations.
U.S. Military Bases in the Middle East Attacked
The Public Relations Department of Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps issued a statement on the 6th, stating that following the U.S. military’s "terrorist aggression that killed children" on Sirik Island and Qeshm Island, enemy bases in the Middle East were hit by missile attacks.
