GD Teases BIGBANG's Comeback: "Please Wait for Our Return"

K-pop King G-Dragon (G-DRAGON, GD) has made a powerful comeback after 8 years, taking over Kuala Lumpur's Axiata Arena for two consecutive nights on July 19th and 20th with his 《G-DRAGON 2025 WORLD TOUR 'Ubermensch'》. His presence was electrifying from the moment he appeared, sending the whole audience into a frenzy! Not only did he interact warmly with fans in English, but he also thoughtfully greeted them in Malay, cycling through phrases like “Apa khabar,” “Terima kasih,” “Enjoy tak,” “Syok gila,” and “Korang dah makan” to show his sincerity. He even sweetly exclaimed, “Cinta korang!” The biggest climax of the night came when he personally announced that BIGBANG will reunite for a comeback next year, previewing a 20th anniversary world tour and declared, “Next year, I will bring BIGBANG back!” Instantly, the crowd erupted in excitement!

GD made a stunning entrance as a king, appearing from a rising platform wearing a crown and a red rose-themed coat, opening the show with a powerful performance of 《POWER》 that ignited a wave of screams from over ten thousand fans. After performing 《HOME SWEET HOME》, he warmly greeted fans in Malay with “Apa khabar,” then proudly shouted in English: “Finally, G-DRAGON is back!” drawing thunderous applause.

To get closer to fans, GD interacted in both English and Malay throughout the night, showcasing his sincerity and approachable charm. Shy yet adorable, he switched bashfully between English and Malay: “I see a lot of beautiful flowers (referring to fans' lightsticks). Hari ini, tonight is the night! The first day and opening show of the Kuala Lumpur stop. I’m really happy to be back here. There’s another show tomorrow night, and each will be different, mainly depending on your performance. I believe—Hari ini is the best!”

Firing on all cylinders, GD spent the whole night singing, dancing, and sweating profusely. Even while singing 《Too Bad》, he kept the energy high, dripping with sweat, and couldn't help but exclaim: “So hot!” He then gamely tried to interact with the audience in Malay again, asking: “Enjoy tak?” While trying to say “happy,” he stumbled repeatedly, which left fans puzzled and laughing. He couldn’t help laughing himself, eventually giving up and lying flat on the stage, doing impromptu sit-ups and playfully refusing to get up, teasing: “I won’t get up unless the cheering is louder.” His mischievous and adorable antics melted the crowd and left the fans roaring with laughter.
