（Bandar Seri Begawan, 16th) — Lyu Shiyun, Chairperson of Sibu Hong Hua School, and Director Zheng Shijuan recently traveled together to Qingdao, China, to participate in the "2025 Chinese Language Education Chinese Teachers" workshop.
This training, themed “Experiencing the Sea Breeze of Qingdao, Continuing the Heritage of Chinese Culture,” was organized by the School of International Education at Qingdao University, with 72 representatives from the education sector across 27 countries and regions around the world taking part.
During the welcome dinner, Dr. Dong Huichuan, Deputy Dean of the School of International Education at Qingdao University, and Party Secretary Ji Haoying were also present, gathering joyfully with teachers from all countries and course instructors.
The program was led by renowned experts and scholars from various disciplines, with content covering Chinese character teaching, Chinese vocabulary knowledge, Chinese grammar, Chinese character philology, the art of Chinese character teaching, knowledge of Chinese culture, inheritance of Chinese culture and Chinese language education, Chinese language education in the digital intelligence era, international Chinese language smart education platforms, Chinese teaching and modern information technology, Chinese characters and Chinese calligraphy, traditional Chinese medicine culture and practice, as well as optional courses such as music, guzheng, and martial arts.
