Thailand will hold its general election on February 8. The latest polls show that the Move Forward Party, seen as representing the younger generation and reformists, continues to be favored by voters. The party's prime ministerial candidate, Natthapong, leads the poll with a support rate of 29.08%. Current Prime Minister and Bhumjaithai Party's candidate, Anutin, comes second with 22.24% support.

The National Institute of Development Administration (NIDA) conducted the poll of 2,500 respondents nationwide from the 23rd to the 27th, releasing the results on the 30th.

The poll found that 29.08% of respondents consider Move Forward Party's Natthapong to be their preferred prime ministerial candidate. Next is Bhumjaithai Party's candidate, current Prime Minister Anutin, with 22.24% support.

Democrat Party's prime ministerial candidate, Abhisit, takes third place with 12.52%, while Pheu Thai Party's leading candidate, Yutthacharn, ranks fourth with 12.12%.

Compared to the previous poll released by NIDA in early January, the support for all main candidates has increased, with Natthapong of Move Forward Party seeing the largest gain—over 4 percentage points.

In terms of party preference for members of the House of Representatives (Lower House), Move Forward Party also leads with 33.56% support, followed by Bhumjaithai Party, Pheu Thai Party, and Democrat Party.
