Hong Kong's popular group “MIRROR” member Keung To was involved in a careless driving incident that occurred around 4 a.m. on November 28 last year on Caine Road, Hong Kong Island, resulting in crashing into a roadside guardrail. In addition, on the next month’s 23rd at dawn, he failed to obey a traffic signal and was driving without displaying his P plate, leading to three prosecution summonses. The case was handled at the Eastern Magistrates' Court on the 13th. Keung To did not appear in court; he had previously admitted two of the charges in writing. On the 13th, his lawyer represented him and pleaded guilty in court to careless driving. The defense pleaded that Keung To pleaded guilty at the earliest opportunity, saving the court's time, expressed remorse, and is a first-time offender. He will use this incident as a warning to himself.

Principal Magistrate Cheung Chi Wai accepted that the case occurred due to a momentary lapse, and since there were no injuries and only public property was damaged, ultimately fined him 1,000 HKD (about 505 MYR). For the two summonses he admitted earlier in writing, Keung To was fined HKD 600 each (about 303 MYR), so he was fined a total of HKD 2,200 (about 1,111 MYR) for all three traffic summonses.
