Malaysian singer Gin Lee has been shining bright in the Hong Kong music scene in recent years. In 2024, she swept the Metro Radio Hits, Ultimate Song Chart, and Top Ten Chinese Gold Songs award ceremonies, winning three Female Singer Gold Awards. She became a 'Grand Slam Female Singer' and reached the pinnacle of her career.

However, she recently posted a photo of herself receiving cupping therapy while on a hospital bed on social media and wrote, “Today I celebrate my birthday, celebrating that I still have life,” which deeply worried her fans.

She later shared a photo of tissue soaked in blood, revealing that she “let out a lot of blood” that day, indicating her condition was not to be underestimated. In fact, Gin Lee’s journey to debut was extremely tough. Back then, she went to Hong Kong from Malaysia alone to pursue her dreams, lived in a cramped apartment, and only had 1,000 HKD (about 539 MYR) left in her bank account.

She admitted that pressure once caused her to suffer from chronic insomnia and nightmares, making it nearly impossible to rest.
