After the conclusion of China’s 80th Anniversary of Victory in the War of Resistance commemorative event, Beijing’s Tiananmen Rostrum has reopened to citizens and tourists.

After being closed to the public for nearly four months, the Tiananmen Rostrum reopened to citizens and tourists at noon on the 5th.

The Tiananmen Area Management Committee announced at the end of April this year that the Tiananmen Rostrum would be closed to the public from May 6 for equipment maintenance and inspection work.

At the commemorative event held on the 3rd, Chinese President Xi Jinping, Russian President Vladimir Putin, and North Korean Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un, together with more than 20 other heads of state and government leaders, ascended the Tiananmen Rostrum to watch the military parade. The historic scene of the leaders of China, Russia, and North Korea standing together was captured in photos.
