Muhyiddin: Anwar Lies Every Time He Opens His Mouth, Never Seen Such a Thing in My 78 Years

(Kuala Lumpur, 7th) Bersatu President Tan Sri Muhyiddin pointed out that in his 78 years of life, he has never seen a person or a political party that lies every time they open their mouth, sarcastically referring to Prime Minister Dato' Seri Anwar who keeps lying.
He said that Anwar has never fulfilled the promises he made before taking office; not only has he failed to solve the people's burden of living costs, but he has even increased the public's burden by cancelling subsidies, expanding taxes, and raising tax rates.
"Every time he opens his mouth, it's a lie! Every time he opens his mouth, it's a lie! I've lived for 78 years, and I've never seen a person or a government who lies every time they open their mouth."
Muhyiddin said this during his policy speech at Bersatu's delegates conference opening ceremony on Saturday night.
He also criticized Anwar for slandering him in Parliament over the petrol subsidy issue and for not apologizing to him until now.
"He said to ask the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission to investigate, and that if any wrongdoing was confirmed, he would apologize to me. But until today, there is still no investigation result and no apology."
Nevertheless, he said, thinking positively, this is a test from Above, because those who are slandered and endure it will be rewarded by God.
On the other hand, he pointed out that Bersatu and Perikatan Nasional Members of Parliament have repeatedly reminded the Unity Government inside and outside Parliament to stop increasing the people's burden, but the government has never listened.
"They live on the pain of the people."
He said, the Unity Government never admits its own weaknesses, which is why problems remain unsolved for so long.

Muhyiddin stated that the MADANI Government is now rejected and ridiculed by the people, proving that back then, Bersatu and PN's decision not to cooperate with the Unity Government was the right one.
He said that Bersatu firmly refused to cooperate with the Unity Government at that time because they did not want to collude with DAP's greed, and were aware that the struggle's principles should never be sold out for power.

He sarcastically mocked UMNO, saying that for the sake of power, UMNO cooperated with DAP and Anwar, deceiving not only the people but even their own party members.

He described this as a disgusting political virus, and said that Bersatu has never used such a bloated and ugly approach to gain power.

He said that since Malaysia's independence, the nation's peace and harmony have been maintained thanks to the people's tolerance and the wisdom of its leaders.

He added that all political parties adopt a moderate, calm, and fair stance, continue to struggle based on the Federal Constitution, which has become the pillar of Malaysia’s stability and prosperity.

However, he stated that because extreme ethnic-based political parties entered the government through post-election negotiations, the political model based on stable ethnic relations has come to a crossroads.

He described the current government as "strange bedfellows with different dreams" who, in their pursuit of power, have forgotten their original struggles, resulting in incidents of swearing, warnings, threats, and insults among themselves.

"This is a government in utter chaos."
