As Thai media reported that Cambodian Senate President Hun Sen’s private plane flew to China, Hun Sen refuted the rumors in a Facebook post, stating that he is in the situation room commanding military operations together with leaders at all levels.
Hun Sen pointed out that he is currently using video and other communication systems to jointly command military operations with the Prime Minister, Minister of National Defense, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, and commanders of armed units at all levels, in order to fight against the invading Thai army.
"I have been sitting right here ever since the commander of Thailand’s 2nd Army Region claimed he would block the 'Prasat Ta Moan Thom' passage."
"The commander of Thailand’s 2nd Army Region is exactly the instigator of this war; he ordered the blockade of Prasat Ta Moan Thom yesterday and fired on Cambodian troops this morning."
He said, this person once threatened to attack Cambodia within three days, and he is keen to know just what his 'three-day strategy' is.
He condemned, stating that Thai politicians and the media spreading false reports has become their 'culture'—'please, continue your deception!'
