On the 24th, Iranian President Pezeshkian stated in an open letter to the Iranian people that after the heroic resistance of the Iranian people, the war launched by Israel and lasting 12 days has officially ended.
He requested that all institutions focus their efforts on reconstruction work from now on.
According to a statement issued by the Iranian Presidential Office on the same day, Pezeshkian said that the enemy's plot to destroy Iran's nuclear facilities and incite social unrest had been completely thwarted; instead, Israel's key facilities suffered heavy damage, showing that reckless actions against Iran will have a high price.
Additionally, on the 24th, Pezeshkian stated during a phone call with Saudi Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed that Iran is ready to resolve its issues with the United States within an international framework.
He emphasized that the United States and Israel are trying to sow discord and hostility among Islamic countries, while Iran is seeking to strengthen regional unity and peace, viewing it as the foundation for the country’s accelerated development.
Iran Ready to Return to Negotiating Table
On the other hand, the website of the Iranian Presidential Office pointed out on the 24th that President Pezeshkian, during a call with Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar on that day, said that as long as Israel does not violate the ceasefire agreement, Iran will not either.
He said Iran is ready to return to the negotiating table and defend the legitimate rights of the Iranian people.
