The brand-new fantasy reality show "Superpower Academy" is set to premiere, hosted by the veteran host Leung Si-ho, known as the "Asian Ghost King." He already led the team to Ipoh, Malaysia for filming last month. At the program press conference on the 5th, he excitedly stated, "After filming supernatural shows for over 20 years, this is the most exciting one!" He also revealed that during the filming, he once entered a different dimension, which left him amazed.
"Superpower Academy" combines fantasy, reality, and competition elements, focusing on supernatural growth and competition, claiming to create a new era for supernatural variety shows. In the program, Leung Si-ho plays the role of "Principal," partnering with three metaphysical mentors, namely Master Feng Sui, Master Fa Ming, and Master Dao Yuan, to lead more than ten students in learning metaphysical skills such as sensory inspiration, the use of magical tools, and practical feng shui, ultimately competing for the title of "Superpower Scholar."
Master Feng Sui, who won the championship in "King of Psychic 2," also stated that the program will authentically record the process of ordinary people evolving into awakeners, "We want the public to see those invisible yet real forces."
Leung Si-ho revealed that during filming at the Ipoh castle, he encountered a supernatural phenomenon: "The person across from me couldn't hear me at all, later the master said it was interference from another dimension." He also lamented that mysterious forces indeed obstructed the filming process, but he felt at ease under the protection of the three masters.
As for why they chose to film in Ipoh, Leung Si-ho frankly stated that he really likes Malaysia and also revealed that he has bought property in Kuala Lumpur. He took the opportunity to promote, "2026 is Malaysia's Year of Tourism. I hope everyone will visit after watching the show."
When asked if he possesses superpowers, he disclosed that he can read auras and even receive messages in his ears, "My 'light' was cultivated by myself." Speaking about fans often asking him for lucky numbers, he laughed and said, "I don't dare to buy them myself; I'm afraid if I buy them, you won't have any left!"
"Superpower Academy" will air from June 14th, every Saturday and Sunday at 10 PM, on Astro Jade channel (Channel 310) and Astro Anywhere simultaneously. Metaphysical enthusiasts must not miss it.
