(Bandar Seri Begawan, 7th) Brunei’s sole authorized Land Rover dealer, Indera Motors, held an exclusive preview event and iftar dinner at the Polo Club, unveiling the all-new upgraded Defender 110 to invited clients and partners.
This event provided owners and brand partners with an intimate opportunity to see the newly upgraded Land Rover Defender for the first time. Since the modern version was relaunched, five years have passed, but Defender continues to define contemporary all-terrain capability. The latest upgrade brings significant improvements, including a brand-new front design featuring the signature illuminated graphics, fog lights as standard, rear lights with inset design and smoked lens, giving the exterior a more modern look. The body color palette has also been refreshed, with new options including Woolstone Green and Borasco Grey. Refined details and upgraded materials make the Defender stand out even more.
Inside, the Defender features a larger 13.1-inch touchscreen providing a more intuitive interface for the infotainment system. On the technology front, Defender now offers, for the first time, the optional Adaptive Off-Road Cruise Control, making off-road driving easier and more comfortable. Based on all-terrain progress control technology, this system allows the driver to set their desired comfort level during off-roading, with the system automatically adjusting speed. This reduces driver workload and enhances off-road driving stability.
Mark Cameron, Executive Director of Defender, stated: “Since its launch, Defender has become a lasting success and a much-loved brand among customers. With production lines running at full capacity to meet demand, the latest updates are part of our ongoing commitment to enriching the sense of adventure. New design enhancements, fresh colors, and an expanded accessory range build upon last year’s comprehensive upgrades to ensure our iconic 4x4 becomes even better.”
Additionally, Defender’s rugged looks are further emphasized through optimized new front and rear bumper surfacing, and new texture designs for the hood and side vents, presenting a more robust and adventurous image. The new headlamps display a distinctive signature when illuminated, while the sleek rear lamps feature a deep-tinted mirror effect, giving a clean look and improving visibility, lighting the way for every adventure. All models are equipped with new Gloss Black Defender branded wheel center caps, alongside the launch of a new 22-inch seven-spoke Diamond Turned Dark Grey alloy wheel design.
To enhance owner convenience, the new center console design allows for better use of cabin space, with added sliding hidden storage and increased storage capacity. The upgrades also introduce more off-road equipment—Defender 130 now comes equipped with an integrated air compressor, enabling owners to adjust tire pressure anytime, anywhere.
Indera Motors stated that this launch showcases the continuously evolving capabilities of Defender, enhancing both aesthetic appeal and functionality through design, while technology upgrades make the driving experience even more comfortable and convenient. This unstoppable all-terrain vehicle will continue to meet customer needs for adventure, delivering robust power and assurance on every journey.
