(Bandar Seri Begawan, 12th) BN On The Move, in collaboration with Oyen and Friends, held an event yesterday morning at Labu Square during BIBD Connects in Temburong, aiming to encourage residents to adopt an active and healthy lifestyle.
Medical officer Faizah from the Ministry of Health's Health Promotion Centre (PPK) stated that the purpose of holding this event in Temburong District was to better connect with the local community and to expand resident participation in the BN On The Move program.
"The main goal of this program is to encourage community residents to actively take part in health activities and to raise public awareness of the BruHealth application."
"Through this application, the public can join BN On The Move and monitor their own health status."
She said that this program is a continuation of the BN On The Move project, which was previously launched at the BIBD Connect event in Bandar Seri Begawan.
Today's event focused on promoting an active lifestyle, including warm-up sessions, exercise activities, a blood donation drive, and exhibitions."
"In addition, the Health Promotion Centre also held an exhibition on the importance of healthy eating and physical exercise in daily life."
She introduced that she hopes this program can increase community participation and let more people know about the BN On The Move project.
She said that the BN On The Move project is planned to continue until February and has already received positive feedback from the public.
However, the organizers hope that more community members will actively participate in the project and practice an active and healthy lifestyle.
She said that the project will also be rolled out in Belait and Tutong districts.
This project is jointly organized by the Ministry of Health and EVYD Technology, the company that developed the BruHealth and BN On The Move applications and is responsible for coordinating the implementation of activities.
