On the 3rd, CENTCOM Commander General Cooper stated that the US and Israel have now conducted nearly 100 hours of military operations against Iran, with US forces striking close to 2,000 Iranian targets and destroying 17 Iranian warships.
In a video statement posted on social media, he said that over 50,000 US soldiers, 200 fighter jets, and 2 aircraft carriers have participated in the operation, with more forces being assembled. So far, over 2,000 munitions have been delivered, striking nearly 2,000 targets, destroying hundreds of ballistic missile launchers and unmanned aerial vehicles, and severely weakening Iran's air defense capability.
He pointed out that US forces have also destroyed 17 Iranian navy warships, including one submarine. Currently, there are no Iranian vessels operating in the Gulf, Strait of Hormuz, or the Gulf of Oman.
Cooper said that, in retaliation, Iran has launched more than 500 ballistic missiles and dispatched over 2,000 drones.
The United States and Israel launched a large-scale military operation against Iran on February 28, after which Iran immediately carried out retaliatory strikes against Israeli and US bases in the Middle East.
